The truth about designers

All designers, selfishly, want to have an impact on the populous. This applies to all artists as well. The difference between the artist and the designer is that the designer may not have any metric to which they can rate talent without it involving sales numbers and/or units shipped. However, this is neutralized by those artists who exclusively create art only so that they may share their depression.

RSS and the death of the website

After using iGoogle for three years, I can’t help but to feel something about Slashdot has been lost to me. I’ve been giving up my opportunity to enjoy the front page, participate in shitty polls, and experience all the weirdos commenting in posts whose RSS link I usually won’t follow. Will RSS become the death of daily web UX?
